Not Your Moms Station Wagon..My Second Allroad

This is my second Allroad the first was a 2003. Overall I love the car, I live in the mountains and at the beach so ability to drive in snow is crucial (added all mountain tires) Miss the hydraulics and power of the 2003 but this one still gets me there. Have to keep wheel wells cleared out as freezing snow builds up. Plenty of room inside for my mountain bike, skis, gear. Classy looks and the handling makes the winding mountain road a blast. Heels, boots or barefoot I'd buy it again ! A woman driver ;) - 5.0

Handsome car, comfortable seats highway cruiser, Great mileage. Hard to get in and out of without hitting head or shoulder on doorframe. Always get back of legs dirty getting out of car - body trim on door sill sticks out too much. Weird gear shifter but easy enough to figure out. Cup holders in the worst possible spot - under buttons - always scrape fingers getting cup out of holder. Radio volume button at first seems to be in a great position on the console but it is too easy to hit with pocketbook and other things - ultimately a poor place for the control. Radio - change the station and the display changes and then goes back to display the previous station for about 10-15 seconds, why would it do that?? MMI (information) control buttons and knob are between the gear shifter and the cupholders - one spill and the MMI controller is gone and not covered by warranty (even the dealer warned us to be careful). A strange click-click sound from under the car every time the car accelerated the first time after being turned on - dealer said it was the anti-lock brakes. 20 years of driving with anti-lock brakes never got that sound, maybe it was the new quattro system. Ultimately, not the design we were looking for and sold it.
